The award-winning energy management initiative is just one of many projects in which the company focuses on protecting the environment. ERA supports the evolution of the industry which today places greater value on the carbon lifecycle of construction equipment throughout the life of the machine, which of course begins with the manufacturer in the production.
Volvo CE has been a member of the WWE Climate Savers program since 2012 and its 2015-2020 commitment consisted in considerably reducing its global energy consumption and therefore its CO production 2 all along the value chain, demonstrating its leadership and developing innovations for a low-carbon society.
