Volunteer Opportunity: Multimedia Production and Media Education at the Demain Nos Enfants Association

Description of the company/organization

The Demain Nos Enfants (DNE) association promotes a fun and participatory popular education dynamic and gives young people a voice on current social issues via media education and solidarity and citizenship education courses. These courses allow us to question ourselves and bring out new ways of thinking and acting in the face of current societal issues through multimedia production. Different awareness, creation and action courses are offered:
– Education course in media and critical thinking via moving debates, battles of bad faith, repartee, good faith, etc.,
– Reporters of the Future course via Carrier of Words workshops, investigative techniques, interviews and radio sets,
– Graphic creation course, multimedia, web series, YouTube videos, etc.,
– Journey of creating forum theater shows

Job Description

Under the responsibility of a member of the team, the volunteer will have the following mission:
– To participate in the organization of debates and the running of media education workshops, debates in schools, socio-cultural organizations and partner student associations. (journalistic investigations, bearers of words, surveying, radio broadcast, podcast, etc.
– To participate in multimedia production for young people and young adults: audiovisual and multimedia training workshops (production of Fake news, animated films, etc.)
– Participate in the design, writing and production of multimedia educational materials, their editing and distribution
– To participate in the mobilization and monitoring of our audiences and partners
– Participate in communication on social networks and the website
