President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed a new commander of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became Major General Dmytro Gerega.
This is stated in Decree No 315/2024which was published by the Office of the President.
“To appoint Gerega Dmytro Mykhailovych as commander of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” it says.
Before that, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Brigadier General Oleksandr Yakovets from this post.
As ArmiyaInform reported, the Minister of Defense introduced the new head of the State Special Transport Service.
