TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Two teams ensured that they advanced to the final for the men’s category indoor volleyball in Indonesia SEA Games 2022.
The two teams are Indonesian National team and the home team, Vietnam.
Vietnam confirmed itself to qualify for the top match after making a comeback victory over Thailand at the Dai Yan Sports Arena, Friday (20/5/2022) night WIB.
Thailand first won the first set with a score of 25-17.
The next two sets were a surprise for the White Elephant volleyball team.
Thailand KO from Vietnam through the position 23-25 and 17-25.
Thailand’s unyielding efforts to advance to the final paid off in the fourth set. They won by a score of 25-23.
The final set was finally owned by the home team through a tight battle, 13-15.
With this victory, Vietnam maintains hope to win a gold medal in indoor volleyball.
On the other hand, for Thailand, this defeat was like de javu for them after losing to the host team holding the SEA Games.
