Libreville, March 13, 2023 (AGP)- Manga Volleyball (Woman) and Kwan VB (Men) secured the essentials against Kwan and Variété Volleyball Association (VVB), during the 3rd day of the Estuaire provincial championship played on past weekend.
As a curtain raiser for this day, which was played at the Léon Mba national high school gymnasium, the Manga volleyball players only needed three sets to defeat Kwan (25/16, 25/22, 25/12 ).
Manga Volleyball’s assistant coach, Grace Poncy, did not hide her pleasure after this new victory. “I am 80% satisfied, because I know my daughters. Very often they are 100%. There were shortcomings, but overall I’m satisfied.”.
The second match of the day which this time opposed the men of Kwan VB and Variété VVB very quickly turned in favor of the first team mentioned, after two sets (25/12, 25/12). VVA tried to turn the tide by winning the third set (26/24), but Kwan VB regained control, to finally win in four sets (25/12, 25/12, 24/26, 25 /19).
“After winning the first two sets, we gave up thinking that the match was over, while the others arrived with good intentions. Thus, it was necessary to remobilize the team for the 4th set to be won«, I indicated the coach of Kwan VB, Ollomo llalman.
