At the New York Auto Show, Volkswagen has demonstrated the new Peak Edition modification of the full-size crossover Atlas, available only in the US market.
The crossover Atlas offered across the ocean, which recently underwent modernization, will also be offered in the new version Peak Edition. The Peak Edition differs from the standard three-row Atlas version with body side covers that protect the body from scratches, while the standard wheels have been replaced with offroad 255/60 tires on 18-inch wheel rims.
Roof rack rails and silver underbody guards installed. The air intake frames are also in silver color, while the black-painted diffuser is located in the middle of the four-cornered aluminum exhaust system outlets at the back.
Plates with the inscription Peak Edition can be found on the front fenders, an illuminated version logo is on the front panel on the side of the passenger. The exclusive Avocado Green tone was chosen for the exterior.
The interior is color matched to the exterior with black leather, gray accents and orange stitching
Like the other models of the Atlas family, this version is also equipped with a 12.0-inch touchscreen and a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, but under the hood is the upgraded 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a power of 273 hp.
