Are we talking about the fact that Avilon will restart the assembly of Volkswagen in Kaluga? The vice-president of the National Automobile Union, Anton Shaparin, categorically states: no, it doesn’t. It is still impossible to guess what exactly they will produce and whether they will be produced at all, according to him, but these are definitely not German brand cars. Actually, this is quite obvious, because if there was such an opportunity, Volkswagen itself would take advantage of it, which did not officially announce its withdrawal from Russia.
