The European new vehicle assessment program Euro NCAP has published the results of its latest series of safety tests. The ID. Buzz (and the new Amarok) passed the tests with flying colors, earning the perfect 5-star rating.
The ID. Buzz, which has been winning awards since its official launch a few weeks ago, continues its momentum, with this rating awarded by Euro NCAP for its excellent safety performance. These 5 stars certify the excellence of the model in terms of protection during an impact, as well as the quality of its equipment, especially in terms of reliable accident prevention technologies. Complemented by a set of front, then central and side airbags for the rear passengers, the ID. Buzz scores 92% for adult occupant protection.
For its part, the latest Amarok, which seduces fans of removable cells, gets a similar note following the crash tests carried out. Its rugged bodywork, chassis, and multitude of driver assistance and emergency braking systems earned it this rating. The new Volkswagen pickup is also equipped with knee airbags. This award bodes well for the new Amarok, which is due to be launched in Germany early next year.
