Along with the ID.3 GTX, another model of this family debuted – the ID.7 GTX Tourer.
Like the ID.3 GTX hatchback, the ID.7 Tourer universal GTX model stands out with a sporty design, which is underlined by 20-inch (21-inch format will also be available) wheel rims, more aggressively designed bumpers, a finely crafted diffuser and a black interior with contrasting red stitching and GTX logos on the seats and steering wheel.
The equipment also includes LED-Matrix lights, 3D-LED rear lights, sports seats and steering wheel, Smart Glass panoramic roof (extra) with dimming function, digital gauges, augmented reality display and a 15-inch multimedia system screen with IDA voice assistant and ChatGPT artificial intelligence.
New is the Wellness App. It can be used to adjust various vehicle functions using pre-configured programs to improve the way you feel while driving or taking breaks. Depending on the vehicle’s equipment, the app can control functions such as ambient lighting, sound, air conditioning, panoramic roof, as well as seat air conditioning and seat massage, all while working in the background of a specially composed acoustic accompaniment.
The ID.7 GTX Tourer is powered by two e-motors with a total power of 250 kW (340 hp), providing 4Motion all-wheel drive and the designation of Volkswagen’s most powerful station wagon ever. It is known that the maximum speed of the car is 180 km/h – electronically limited.
A new lithium-ion battery with 86 kWh (net) is built under the body. It can be charged at up to 200 kW at DC fast charging stations, which means that under ideal conditions the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.
The sporty nature of the ID.7 GTX Tourer does not prevent it from maintaining its practical features as well – the spacious interior and luggage compartment with a capacity of 605-1714 liters, but the universal towing capacity has increased from 1000 to 1400 kilograms thanks to the 4Motion all-wheel drive.
