The independent organization C-NCAP conducted a crash test of the Volkswagen ID.6 crossover. A model in version X took part in the tests. This car is produced in China, from where it is brought to Russia by a number of large dealership centers. Depending on the modification, car prices vary from 3.8 million to 5.5 million rubles.
The car was able to score a maximum of five safety stars in C-NCAP crash tests. Experts assessed the protection of the driver and passengers at 94.56%, and for pedestrians at 77.42%. Motorist assistance systems that ensure safe driving received 86.34%.
The car has shown a high degree of reliability for the driver and passengers in all types of collisions. For pedestrians, the main danger is the area of the car’s windshield and side pillars.

The ID.6 X crossovers have three powertrains. Rear-wheel drive versions of the car received one electric motor with a power of 179 or 204 hp. Such a car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 9.3 and 9.1 seconds, respectively. Customers are also offered all-wheel drive crossovers with two electric motors (one on each axle). The total power of the car is 306 hp. Such a car can accelerate to hundreds in 6.6 seconds. Depending on the modification, the ID.6 X’s range ranges from 436 to 587 km.
