German Volkswagen has announced the start of production of its latest electric car in a press release. From now on, the ID.Buzz van will roll off the production line in Hanover, where the plant has been adapted for the production of a large electric car over the last two years.

The utility version of Cargo has been coming off the line in the factory for some time now, which will be supplemented by ID.Buzz for passengers. Together with electric cars, the Multivan gene also spits out the race. T7 and Transporter gen. T6.1. He had over 4,000 employees retrained due to news on the Volkswagen line.

VW wants to assemble up to 15,000 units in Hanover this year, but the maximum annual capacity of the factory is 130,000 cars. This is because Volkswagen expects great interest in electricity supply.

The prices of the utility version and personal deliveries for the Czech Republic have not yet been published. Volkswagen is keeping them for the official launch in early July.

For inspiration, however, we can see the prices in neighboring Germany, where the basic amount for the Cargo version starts at 46,455 euros, ie approximately 1.14 million crowns, while the personal version is approximately 250,000 crowns more expensive.
