Volkswagen has again hinted at the appearance of the next generation Amarok and shared two sketches of the pickup, one of which even shows us the interior of the Double Cab with four doors. As we told you before, the new Amarok is a joint development of Ford and VW and will share most of its components and units with the newly introduced Ranger.
Although the two pickups will be virtually identical, Volkswagen is betting on its own look with changes to the front with different headlights and grille, larger fender arches and probably a different rear.
In the interior, too, we will not see just a changed logo, and Volkswagen has made sure that customers find well-known seats and steering wheel, as well as some physical buttons under the screen of Ford’s infotainment system.
However, the differences in exterior and interior will not separate the two pickups and they will be produced on the same production line in South Africa and Argentina.
