The Volkswagen Golf Black Edition will become one of the last special versions of the Golf 8 model.
Volkswagen will launch the Golf Black Edition, a special version for the UK market. The “black” version will become one of the last Golf 8 special models, if only because the Golf 9 manufacturer has no plans. At the moment, all that is known is that at the end of the eighth Golf’s life cycle, Volkswagen will withdraw it from production, keeping the possibility of using the Golf name in some other form, for example giving it to an electric drive model.
As for the Golf Black Edition, this Golf will stand out with its black body, black 18-inch Bergamo alloy wheels, black chrome window moldings and black mirror housings. The package also includes LED Plus headlights, tinted glass at the back, bumpers in R-Line body color, rearview camera, sports seats and interior comfort lighting from 30 choices.
The Volkswagen Golf Black Edition will be available in a combination of a 1.5-liter TSI 150 hp unit and a six-speed manual transmission, a 1.5 eTSI 150 hp Mild Hybrid version connected to the 7DSG, as well as a two-liter 190 hp variant, where 4Motion all-wheel drive is combined with the 7DSG .
The Volkswagen Golf Black Edition is now available for order. Pricing starts at £31,985 (€37,306).
