On March 10, the Volkswagen plant in Poznań and September decided to suspend production due to component shortages and a disrupted supply chain. This is the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They came from our eastern neighbors to the Polish factory electrical harnesses produced there.
Now Volkswagen Poznań announces that both factories after an 18-day break, they resume production. This means that they are rolling off the production lines in Poznań again Volkswagen Caddy and T6.1and from Września Crafter and MAN TGE.
In the press release, Dietmar Mnich, president of the management board of Volkswagen Poznań, says, however, that although production has resumed, it the situation is dynamic.
