/ world today news/ Boyko Borisov to declare the neutrality of Bulgaria and our country not to participate in any NATO exercises or operations.
This was requested by the leader of “Ataka” Volen Siderov in a statement on behalf of the parliamentary group, reported a BGNES reporter.
There are six American ships in the waters of the Black Sea, Siderov pointed out. “We are currently participating in military operations that threaten Bulgarian national security and we are involved in NATO operations, which are a dangerous provocation,” he said and called on Prime Minister Bulgaria to declare neutrality.
We can show that we have nothing to do with the escalation of tension that NATO is fueling in our region, because the treaty does not oblige us to participate, Siderov insisted. He comments on the statements of American generals who admit that Bulgaria is part of the front line.
“Do what is necessary and declare neutrality. Only in this way will the national dignity of Bulgaria be preserved,” he insisted. Siderov also took a stand on the topic of DPS, which was raised earlier in the parliament by the Patriotic Front. He recalled that the 41st National Assembly adopted a declaration accusing the Bulgarian people of “genocide and ethnic cleansing” during the Revival process. It was adopted with the votes of the Blue Coalition – today’s partners of the PF and the governing party from GERB, Siderov said.
Prior to Siderov’s declaration, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov presented the draft decision, with which Veselin Vuchkov was released as Minister of Internal Affairs and Rumyana Bachvarova was appointed in his place, who also retains her functions as Deputy Prime Minister.
Siderov took the floor immediately after Borisov in order to use the live broadcast of the meeting because of the resignation, but during his speech the Speaker of the Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva called for the cameras to be turned off until the debates on the resignation and the election of a new minister begin. “For the first time, you are turning off the cameras specifically because of a deputy speaking from the rostrum,” Siderov said.
