VOLCANO BAY, THE UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT THEMED AQUATIC PARK, WILL RE-OPEN ON FEBRUARY 27
ORLANDO, Florida (February 4, 2021) – Universal’s Volcano Bay, Universal Orlando Resort’s innovative and immersive theme water park, will begin welcoming visitors again on Saturday, February 27.
Universal’s Volcano Bay, one of Universal Orlando’s three amazing theme parks, is a tropical oasis filled with relaxing and exciting experiences, all around a massive 60-meter volcano, located right in the center of the park. Upon entering, the visitor is immediately transported to a paradise inspired by the seas of the Pacific Ocean, where they can relax on the sands of Waturi Beach, slowly navigate the Kopiko Wai Winding River, face a 38-meter drop at the Ko attraction. ‘okiri Body Plunge and much more.
Volcano Bay’s enhanced health and safety protocols will be in effect when the park reopens on February 27, and will reflect the guidelines that were released last year. The main measures include: controlling the temperature for visitors and team members, limiting capacity in the park and attractions – including rivers and swimming pools -, reinforcing social distance, using strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and requiring face masks within restaurants, shops and to get in and out of the park.
