Volatile Weather Waves Strike Egyptian Governorates, Woman Killed in Qena

A wave of volatile weather struck a number of Egyptian governorates, from yesterday evening, Friday, until today, Saturday, which resulted in the interruption of some services in some areas, as well as causing the death of a woman in Qena.

The governorates of Aswan, Luxor, Sohag, South Sinai, the New Valley, Beni Suef, Minya and Suez witnessed a wave of volatile weather, accompanied by a dust storm and thunderstorms in some areas.

The dust storm caused a power outage in the tourist city of Abu Simbel in Aswan, before the current returned to work again, while the fluctuating weather wave resulted in the death of a woman in Qena Governorate, on whom a palm tree fell.
