Voigtlander NOKTON 35mm F0.9 X-mount Lens Set to Launch in Taiwan: Features and Specifications

Voigtlander Lens Taiwan general agent Yi Wen International announced that NOKTON 35mm F0.9 X-mount is expected to be launched in Taiwan in August, and the recommended price in Taiwan is yet to be determined.

Designed for Fuji X mount

The lens incorporates an optical system optimized for the image sensors of Fujifilm X-series cameras. It maintains high resolution without relying on the camera’s optical correction function, while suppressing phenomena such as color shift, and can obtain clear and sharp images even at the edge without relying on the camera’s optical correction function.

GA (Grinded Aspheric) Lenses and Mechanisms

The first lens was a GA (Grinded Aspherical) lens produced in-house. This high-refractive index lens cannot be achieved through common molded aspheric lenses, and it can provide high-level image quality and unique appearance design at the same time with a large aperture. In addition, the lens is equipped with floating elements, which can provide stable image quality between the shortest focusing distance and distant subjects.

Manual focus ensures reliable focus operation

The lens is equipped with a precision-machined and adjusted all-metal spiral focusing barrel, and high-quality grease is used to generate moderate rotational resistance and achieve smooth focusing operation.

Directly linked mechanically operated aperture ring

The aperture mechanism of the lens adopts a structure similar to Voigtlander’s VM-mount lens and mirrorless camera lens, and the aperture ring is directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades. The aperture ring has a 1/3 gear point-selection adjustment, and you can directly feel the strength of the operation.

Information communication with the camera body through electronic contacts

The lens is equipped with electronic contacts for reliable electronic communication between the lens and the camera body. In addition to Exif information, focus check and shooting distance linkage display, some models also support body anti-shake and parallax correction through the combination of telecom-supported body and latest firmware.

▲ Note: X-Pro3 supports parallax correction.

Beautiful bokeh with 12 aperture blades

The lens uses a structure of 12 aperture blades to achieve a nearly circular aperture. Outer focus areas are rendered more naturally, and details such as dots of light no longer appear as polygons, but instead appear as round and soft bokeh effects.

Listing Date and Suggested Price

NOKTON 35mm F0.9 X-mount is expected to be launched in Taiwan in August. The recommended price in Taiwan is undecided. Those who are interested can contact Yiwen International.
