In 2018, Linda Schmelzer made a guest appearance with the legendary Omni Blues Band in the Auber Spitalkeller for the first time. She returns with her new formation. This time, the open-air stage in the atmospheric hospital garden provides a worthy setting.

Blues singer Linda Schmelzer needs no introduction. Anyone who has experienced the white woman with the black timbre knows what to expect. Her power blues voice, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes cheerful or sad, gets under your skin. Bubbling deep from her soul, she touches and moves her listeners.

Linda has first-class musicians with her: The excellent guitarist Jochen Volpert, who has now released his eighth album, can be described as a musical desperado. He rebelliously plays almost any style of music he likes, but when it comes to the blues, his real passion shows.

On the saxophone stands Jürgen Faas from Würzburg, a studied music teacher who travels internationally with numerous big bands and jazz ensembles. The keys are twirled by Michael Hauck, the busy Funky Groove boss, known from the popular Monkeyman band and the Andre Carswell duo.

The groove carpet is laid by the rhythm section of the Omni Blues Band with Chui Lang on bass and Gunnar Olsen on drums.
