Vodafone Launches OneNumber Service for eSIM in Apple and Samsung Watches
Vodafone, one of the leading network operators, has introduced a new service called OneNumber, which allows users to have duplicate eSIMs in their Apple and Samsung watches (LTE, Cellular). The operator also claims that the service should work with other devices that have eSIM capabilities, such as watches from other brands or even tablets. However, it is worth noting that there are not many such devices available on the market.
While Vodafone is the last network operator to offer this service, it is the first to allow up to two copies of the main number. This means that users can have their main mobile phone number on their watch with a modem and also on a tablet with a modem. The price for one or two eSIMs remains the same. The service is free for the first three months, and then the operator charges 99 Czech koruna per month.
However, Vodafone has one condition for using the OneNumber service. It can only be activated for unlimited tariffs, specifically those with unlimited data. The service is not available for other tariffs.

This is most commonly seen in Apple Watch and certain models of Samsung watches. Watches without a mobile modem require a direct connection to a phone. They can function independently, but without a phone, users cannot make calls, for example.
