Vodafone: disruption! Users complain of “total failure” in some regions

Vodafone has been struggling with massive problems since Thursday evening. Users all over Germany complain of severe disruptions and, in some cases, total failure of landline and Internet use. Users in Munich, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Berlin, Leipzig, Chemnitz, Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main and Dresden were affected.

Vodafone customers show themselves at “allestörungen.de” annoyed and complain that the Internet provider would regularly fail. Nothing has worked in Munich since Friday morning at eight o’clock. “A dead Fritzbox without internet connection since 8 o’clock – that is the 3rd time within 2 months …”, writes one user. “You simply cannot rely on Vodafone with a home office claim – they just don’t take it seriously enough – the penultimate time there was no internet for 4 days.”

“The technicians are working flat out to fix the problem as quickly as possible,” the company wrote on Twitter. Until then, the company asks for patience. Customers who are affected by the total failure are also asked to be patient on the Vodafone website. Vodafone announced on Friday that the damage will be repaired by 5:15 a.m. on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning, however, the problem was still not resolved.
