Massive disruption at Vodafone: Customers report a total failure of the Internet and telephone
First report from June 12: Munich – Numerous customers of the mobile phone company Vodafone currently have no network. Internet, landline telephones and TV in particular failed throughout Germany. Vodafone customers report problems with the Internet, telephone and TV – the service side is also not available
On Monday morning (June 12), the error reports on the portal shot up. In eleven percent of the cases there was even a “total blackout”. Vodafone customers from Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Dortmund and Essen reported most frequently to the portal because they had significant problems.
Meanwhile, Vodafone customers could not get help in the service portal. Because the attempt to log in online via smartphone, for example, ended with an error message: “We are currently working on making our services even better. Please excuse me if everything is not working yet. We’ll be back for you from Monday.”
However, the site also showed this notice on Monday morning (as of June 12, 11:22 a.m.). As before, Vodafone customers could not log in to the service page. It is unclear how long the disruption at Vodafone will last and how long customers will have to get by without the Internet.
