Vnukovo Airport put employees on idle

Moscow Vnukovo Airport introduces downtime due to the “difficult situation” in the Russian aviation industry. Recruitment of new workers is stopped, and employees have had their salaries cut.

“Vnukovo Airport is forced to cut costs (…) Recruitment has been closed for some of the staff, idle mode has been introduced, due to reduced workload, part-time work has been offered to employees,” the airport representative said.

Employees of Vnukovo receive two-thirds of their salary during downtime, but they keep their jobs.
