Only once in the current season of the World Cup did Petra Vlhová achieve better results in the span of two days than last weekend in Jasná.

That was when on the penultimate weekend of November last year she won two slaloms in a row in Levi, Finland. Now on the home slope in Jasná she took 180 of the maximum number of 200 points after second place in slalom and triumph in giant slalom.
The reward was also the overall victory in the 82nd year of the legendary Grand Prix of Demänovské Caves and the distortion of Lara Gutová-Behramio’s lead in the first place in the fight for a big globe from 107 to 36 points.
Given that the next Friday and Saturday, there will be two more slaloms on the program in the Swedish Aare, which the 29-year-old Swiss will not ride at all, a Slovak who is four years younger will have a great advantage on her side.
“In Jasná we have slightly corrected the point balance in the fight with Gut-Behrami from the past weeks. Now we are going to Aare and there it needs to be confirmed in the slalom. There are 200 points in the game that our opponent cannot get.
We have to concentrate as much as possible on our last priority of the season, because we want to bring something really big to Slovakia. We need to process emotions and maintain strength, “Magoni sketched a recipe for success in the next World Championships.
The moisture victory in the huge slalom under Chopok also has a statistical dimension.

The ambitious Liptáček achieved her nineteenth triumph in her World Cup career career, bringing her to the level of the once great Austrian Anita Wachter and the German Victoria Rebensburg, who only ended her career last year.
Vlhová overtook the legendary American Tamara McKinney and currently has German Hilde Gerg in front of her with 20 victories. At the same time, it has already ranked among the 25 most successful slopes in history according to the number of victories in the World Cup.
For comparison, Shiffrin’s victory in the slalom on Saturday reached the number of 69 winning races in the World Championships and she continues to work hard on the historical unit – compatriot Lindsey Vonn with 82 victories.
