The Wolves of Žilina won Friday’s meeting of the 27th round of the Tipos Slovak Hockey League (SHL) on the ice of Trnava 4:1 and again increased their lead in the table. The second Prešov beat Dubnica 4:3 only after extra time, when the home team Vladislav Leščenko decided in the 64th minute.
The people of Žilina are already ahead of Prešov with a 20-point lead. Topoľčany and Považská Bystrica, who lost to Blue Wings Slovan 2:3 after extra time, are another point behind.
