Vlado Milunić, a Czech architect of Croatian origin, died at the age of 81. National broadcasts of Czech Radio reported on Saturday.
Milunić has lived in Prague since his youth. He achieved fame as the architect of the Dancing House on the banks of the Vltava in Prague, which he designed together with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry. The building, which opened in 1996, was controversial in Czech society at the time.
