Vladimir Zelensky Discusses American Missile Supply with US Congress Delegation

Vladimir Zelensky said that at a meeting with a bipartisan delegation of the US House of Representatives, he discussed the supply of American long-range ATACMS missiles to Kyiv; according to him, a decision was never reached.

Earlier on Friday, the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink announced the visit to Kyiv of a bipartisan delegation of the US Congress led by the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee Mike Turnerincluding French Hill, Jason Crowand Abigail Spanberger and Zach Nunn.

“Today I met with a bipartisan delegation of congressmen from the United States, led by the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. We discussed, first of all, three issues: the need for support this year and a new American package, which is currently still under discussion. Critical question… Also air defense – specifically Patriot. And the third key question emphasized the importance of the range of our weapons, in particular ATACMS at 300 kilometers, regarding which, unfortunately, there is no decision yet,” Zelensky said in a video published on his Telegram channel.

According to him, he informed the delegation about the situation at the front and about critical threats, and also focused on the need to continue supporting our defense.

Zelensky also published a video of a meeting with congressmen, where, given the lack of new assistance, he decided to clarify whether American support is still as strong or whether something has changed. To this question he was told that support in the US Senate is still strong.
