Vladimir Putin’s Weakness in Defending Crimea and Potential Consequences

Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin will not defend Crimea. As soon as the Ukrainian army sets foot on Crimean soil, he will organize an evacuation from there. Russian oppositionist Vyacheslav Maltsev is sure of this, UNIAN news agency reported.

“Crimea has always been a suitcase without a handle for Putin. All of Putin’s main problems started with Crimea. And this is a vicious circle. He has fallen into a rat trap,” he believes.

According to Maltsev, the latest bright and powerful strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces on military sites in Crimea are a demonstration that Putin, with his “antecedent technologies”, is completely incapable of opposing new weapons and new tactics of waging war.

“Putin has no chance to oppose the new weapon and the Ukrainian army, but he has the opportunity to betray Russia and surrender to China, which he is doing now,” notes the expert.

Vyacheslav Maltsev also believes that after Ukraine frees Crimea from Russian occupiers, Turkish President Recep Erdogan may start a migrant revolt in the Russian Federation, leading to the secession of the republics with large Muslim populations. Turkish intelligence services have long fueled such sentiments, he pointed out.
