Vladimir Putin’s life is said to be in danger, experts advise to beware of close family

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, RUSSIA – Russian President Vladimir Putin asked to be aware of close family, especially women in his family.

Australian expert and academic Leonid Petrov said women in the Putin family could be the source of his assassination attempt.

Putin has in recent weeks been rumored to be overthrown because of his orders for a military invasion of Ukraine.

Even a number of sanctions that hit Russia began to make it very difficult for its citizens.

Rumors circulated that former KGB agent Alexander Bortnikov would be his successor as President of Russia.

However, Petrov, who is currently a senior lecturer and program manager at the Sydney International Management Campus, insists that the closest people to him are likely to kill Putin.

“I believe if there was an assassination attempt, it was very likely from a woman,” Petrov said Daily Star, Saturday (26/3/2022).

“It could be a family member, his mistress, his daughter, his ex-wife, someone who knows him very well and is close to him. The chances (of Putin’s assassination) are increasing,” he added.

Putin himself has always kept his personal life hidden.

People only know that he has two daughters from his ex-wife, Lyudmila Putina.
