Vladimir Putin: Will find ways to prepare for relations with the United States

The Russian and American leaders will meet physically in Geneva on June 16.

Tensions are higher than in many years between the two countries, with frequent allegations of hacking, human rights violations and electoral interference.

“We need to find ways to normalize conditions,” Putin said during an economic forum in St. Petersburg, noting that bilateral ties are not good.

He said at the same time that the accusations that Russia was behind large-scale hacker attacks in the United States were “absurd”.
