5:34 p.m .: The liter of diesel goes just below two euros
The average price of petrol and diesel sold in French service stations has fallen slightly, remaining at very high levels, but falling below the symbolic threshold of two euros/litre for diesel, according to the latest official figures published on Monday .
The liter of diesel was worth an average of 1.9946 euros last week, down nearly seven cents from the previous week, said the Ministry of Energy Transition, which stops these figures on Friday. This fuel had reached its peak this year at 2.1407 euros in mid-March.
The super unleaded 95-E10 also fell below the two euro threshold, reaching 1.9820 euro on average (-4.68 cents). Same trend for the liter of SP 95 unleaded gasoline, down 5.34 cents, but which remained above two euros, at 2.0823 euros on average.
