The meeting took place in the Kremlin on 29 June. Here, the Wagner boss said that the group was Putin’s support and soldiers – and will continue to fight for him, according to the Kremlin.

Images spread

Yevgeny Prigozhin and his mercenaries took control of a million city in southern Russia and marched towards Moscow on 24 June.

Prigozhin called off the uprising that evening after being promised amnesty for himself and his men.

There have previously been unconfirmed rumors that Putin and Prigozhin met, but they are only confirmed now, more than two weeks after the uprising in Russia and a week and a half after the meeting itself.

In the meantime, there have been several reports that Prigozhin must have been in St. Petersburg and collected weapons.
