Vladimir Putin compares IDF operations in Gaza to Ukraine, calls for creation of Palestinian state

Vladimir Putin believes that the military operations carried out by the Israel Defense Forces in the Gaza Strip are significantly different from Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine.

“What is going on [в секторе Газа], this is, of course, a disaster. We have just talked about the situation related to the Ukrainian crisis, but you and everyone present here and around the world can see: look at the special military operation and what is happening in Gaza, and feel the difference. There is nothing like this in Ukraine,” the Russian President said during the direct line. — You mentioned the death of thousands of children and women. The UN Secretary General has called today’s Gaza Strip the largest children’s cemetery in the world. This assessment says a lot. This is an objective assessment of what to say here.”

Putin added that Moscow stands for the creation of a Palestinian state, preserving the civilian population of Gaza and ensuring the supply of humanitarian aid to the strip.

According to him, Russia intended to open its field hospital in the Gaza Strip near the border with Egypt, but Israel said it was unsafe.
