Vladimir Menshov invited a whole galaxy of talents to his film.
The film “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears” made Vera Alentova, Alexey Batalov and Irina Muravyova international stars. At the same time, not all viewers noticed other popular actors of the Soviet screen who appeared in cameo roles in the two-part film.
So, in several scenes, viewers could see Vladimir Firsov, as well as Alexander Pyatkov. And the role of secretary Katerina was played by Irina Korableva, whom the audience knew from the drama “The Prank.”
Vladimir Menshov himself also starred in the film.
He appears in the Fall Picnic episode.
It is he who manages to get Polish beer and treat his friends, and the director appears in the frame in a black leather raincoat.
In addition, the film featured the bard Alfred Solyanov, Muse of Krepkogorskaya, Soviet screen legends Alexandra Danilov and Alexandra Denisova, as well as many other famous artists.
