Vixen, Celebrity | Leah Isadora Behn walked away with the Vixen award: – Must thank mom and dad

The online newspaper updates the case:

GAMLE LOGEN / OSLO (Nettavisen): On Friday, the Vixen Awards 2021 were held in Oslo, where almost everything that can creep in and out of influencers in Norway gathered for a party and award ceremony to celebrate themselves and each other.

The celebration started with a red carpet, where the celebrities got to show off their best outfits. Then mingling and good mood followed, before the actual distribution was kicked off.

As many as 16 prizes were awarded, including this year’s influences in everything from training and food to travel and entertainment, as well as this year’s influences in beauty.

In the latter category, none other than the princess’ daughter Leah Isadora Behn (16) was among the finalists, an award she has never been nominated for before. She has also never been present during Vixen – until now. Therefore, it is perhaps even more impressive that the 16-year-old actually also ran away with the award.

– Then it’s probably just to start, then. My God, said a clearly touched Leah Isadora Behn to great applause from the audience.

– It’s just before I start crying. But you have to start thanking, then. And I mean it seriously. I have to thank everyone here who supports me, has voted for me, who follows me on all my channels. And of course thanks to the jury. I did not expect this. It is quite clear, Behn continued, and brought to tears.

After a short pause, the young influencer continued to thank everyone who has supported her, including her parents, Princess Märtha Louise and the late Ari Behn.

– Of course I have to thank my mom and dad, who have always supported me and said that I can do anything. And I have to thank my friends who are watching, Behn said from the stage.

Sent mom to work

In the hall sat clearly proud Märtha Louise who took out the camera at the first opportunity to film her daughter from the stage.

On the red carpet ahead of the award ceremony, Leah Isadora Behn was able to tell Nettavisen that she took her mother to the award ceremony so that Märtha Louise could work for her.

– She is there to film for my youtube channel, Behn told Nettavisen and laughed.

– So your mom is here to work for you, simply?

“Yes,” replied Behn.

Leah Isadora Behn was not alone in going home with a prize tonight.

On Friday night, great excitement was also expected if the “Debate” host Fredrik Solvang (44) should appear on the red carpet at all.

Solvang was nominated for a Vixen award for the second year in a row, and last time he chose not to come. This year, however, the host shone on the red carpet, and in addition he walked away with the award for Strong Opinion of the Year.

Encourage influencers

From the stage on Friday night stood a happy but also a bit serious NRK presenter with a clear message in the thank you speech.

– I will not meet you with a long speech of thanks. There is one and a half points I will make, and the half point is that I believe in everyone who ever thinks that you are a little different than everyone else: There is a brown man on TV, twice a week, said Solvang from stage and continued:

– But the important point is that this award proves that there is no barrier between NRK and Vixen, for example. This is the new normal. And we in the “Debate” would like to be here for you and with you – come to us, no matter how small the matter may be. Come to us! We take you seriously!

Clear speech from the stage

Tinashe Williamson (36) also received an award from the stage on Friday night, and took the opportunity to give a clear speech from the stage.

Williamson recently published the book “Handbook for Young Anti-Racists”, which has seriously set the agenda for it to be time to put its foot down for racism.

– I have never won anything in my whole life, not even a lucky draw of 25 kroner. Thank you for showing that anti-racism is something we put on the agenda. I often hear: “I’m so tired of talking about racism. Me too, I wish I let go. We have a job to do, I want to challenge everyone to talk to their circle of friends, be concerned with diversity and representation, Williamson said from the stage and continued:

– Say it every time someone comes up with something racist or sloppy, even if there are no “people of color” present. And last but not least, I hope I’m the system who wins an award for talking about racism. Not because we are not concerned about it anymore, but because we have managed to eradicate it together. For you and me and for those who come after us. Then I might as well win the lottery next time.
