It’s rumored that the vivo X70 series will launch next month, although vivo hasn’t announced a date yet. This smartphone manufacturer from China is expected to launch three models at once, namely the vivo X70, vivo X70 Pro, and vivo X70 Pro+.
Ahead of the launch of the smartphone, the main specifications of the three models have been revealed. It was Bald Panda who leaked the specifications of the three smartphones and disseminated them via Weibo. He also mentioned the color of the smartphone that will be available.
vivo X70
The vivo X70, which will be the cheapest model of all, will have a 6.56-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. It is said that this smartphone will arrive with the Dimensity 1200 chipset from MediaTek, but the Exynos 1080 version will also be announced later.
Meanwhile, for the photography sector, there will be three cameras embedded by Vivo into the Vivo X70. The main camera is a 40 MP sensor coupled with two other sensors, namely 12 MP / 13 MP. The Vivo X70 will have a 4,400 mAh capacity battery that supports 44W fast charging.
The smartphone is also said to have a Z-axis motor, a single punch hole, and an infrared scanner. Its dimensions measure 158.5 x 73.4 x 8 millimeters and its weight is 185 grams. Vivo X70 will be available in three colors, namely black, white, and aurora. The aurora variant will have an AG finish.
vivo X70 Pro
vivo X70 Pro will have the same screen size, resolution, and refresh as the standard model. The smartphone will also have the same 4,400 mAh battery capacity and support for 44W fast charging. vivo will equip this smartphone with Exynos 1080.
Unlike the X70, the Pro version will have four cameras on the back. The main camera is a 50 MP sensor, two 12 MP/13 MP sensors with one of them having 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom support.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X70 Pro is larger in terms of dimensions than the standard version, which is 160.5 x 75.5 x 7.7 mm. The sedan weighs less, which is only 181 grams. That said, the vivo X70 Pro will arrive with the same color options as the vivo X70.
Vivo X70 Pro +
Of the three models that will be launched, the top model is the X70 Pro+. Talking about the specifications, this smartphone will have a bigger screen, which is 6.78 inches with enhanced support up to 2K. Another leak also mentions that the X70 Pro+ has a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate.
Coming as the top model, vivo is said to be marketing this smartphone with the support of the Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery that has 55W fast charging via cable, and 50W fast charging wirelessly. The smartphone is also said to have an IP68 rating.
There are also four cameras on the back. The main camera uses a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor which will be coupled with a 48 MP camera using a Sony IMX598 sensor, a 12 MP camera, and an 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, its dimensions measure 165 x 75.5 x 9 millimeters but its weight is not disclosed. vivo will also launch this smartphone in three color choices, namely black (AG finish), orange (vegetarian skin), and blue (plain skin).
