Vivo X60 Pro + and X60 Pro are under review

Welcome to our first look at the vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro +. The newly announced Brand Pair has been with us for a few days, and we challenged them to review. But until it’s ready, we unpack the packaging and check its main features. The next video should show the speed if you miss the ad.

Vivo X60 Pro and Pro + differ in a number of ways, but the camera system, battery charging and processor are the main elements.

Both phones come with a USB cable, headphones, a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, and a case and charger – the Pro + gets a 55-watt battery, while the Pro gets 33 watts – the price it supports. Both devices use this adapter to charge the same 4,200mAh battery.

Two vivo devices fit together on the front, where you will be greeted with a 6.56-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support, and a maximum brightness of over 1,000 nits on the car. It’s a beautiful display, as we would expect from the high-end Vivo series.

The back is a place where things are different. The Vivo X60 Pro reminds us of last year’s Vivo X50 Pro and Pro + with a satin-like finish that feels smooth to the touch and removes fingerprints. Vivo X60 Pro + features a vegan leather panel which the manufacturer calls Emperor Blue. It was a wonderful beauty and feeling to touch. And judging from the Oppo Find X2 Pro we still have a retainer, the vegan leather cover is made of high quality and won’t scratch easily when used.

Vivo X60 Pro + is the company’s most capable smartphone to date with the Snapdragon 888 chipset and the best camera system. The main sensor is the 50MP 1 / 1.3 ”Samsung ISOCELL GN1, which we knew very well from last year’s vivo X50 Pro +. The ultra-high-resolution camera uses the 48-megapixel IMX598 sensor (the same sensor used in the main camera on the X60 and X60 Pro) and equipped with a stabilization system gimbal.

The X60 Pro + is also the only one to have 5x binoculars compared to the international version of the X60 lineup.

Both Vivo X60 Pro and Pro + feature Vivo pixel switching features, which aim to outperform traditional demosaicing algorithms, achieve higher detail per pixel, and improve color accuracy.

Vivo X60 Pro is not slow with the 7nm Snapdragon 870 chipset, not the 5nm 888. On the camera side, it uses the 48 megapixel sensor from the X60 Pro + for the main camera, under the standard 26mm lens. Like the Pro +, this is a camera that features gimbal stabilization.

The other camera is a 2x zoom 13MP and an ultra-fast 13MP – not very innovative, but quite versatile.
