Obnovovací frekvence je maximálně 120 Hz, buď si ji můžete zapnout ručně, nebo nechat přepínání mezi 60 a 120 Hz na automatice. Displej má velmi slušnou čitelnost i na přímém slunci.
Trochu zvláštní je integrace always-on funkce – funguje totiž jen jako spořič obrazovky při nabíjení telefonu, buď se tu pak mohou zobrazovat hodiny, nebo fotografie. V běžném provozu funkcí always-on displej nedisponuje, přitom místo, pod kterým se ukrývá čtečka otisků prstů samozřejmě samostatně rozsvítit dovede. Takže toto mohli u Viva dotáhnout. Čtečka je na náš vkus trochu nízko, ale tak to má spousta smartphonů, jinak funguje rychle a spolehlivě.
Vedle povedeného displeje pak celkově hodnotíme dobře i výbavu telefonu. Procesor Snapdragon 695 5G sice není úplně nejnovější záležitost, ale na pohon telefonu této kategorie stačí, obzvlášť, když je tu 8 GB RAM. Jistě, výkonu by mohlo být víc a konkurence to umí, ale není to žádná tragédie, kvůli které byste o telefonu neměli uvažovat. Pravda, že třeba nadšení mobilní hráči by se asi měli poohlédnout jinde. Uživatelská paměť má kapacitu 128 GB, bohužel ji nejde rozšířit o paměťové karty.
Líbí se nám také fakt, že výrobce nešidí výbavu v balení. K telefonu tak uživatel dostane jednoduché průhledné silikonové pouzdro, USB-C kabel i nabíječku. Na zahnutém displeji telefonu je rovnou z výroby ochranná fólie. To jsou příjemné drobnosti, které však mnohdy konkurence nenabízí a je potřeba za ně zaplatit třeba tisícovku navíc – tady má tedy Vivo opět navrch.
A co nedostatky?
Kromě několika zmíněných drobností tu jsou i další neduhy, ale nikdy nic zásadního. Telefon nemá jack pro sluchátka ani stereo reproduktory, takže kdo nechce používat bezdrátová sluchátka, pro něj není V29 Lite ideální. Otazníkem je softwarová podpora, telefon má Android 13, ale o aktualizacích toho moc nevíme, snad budou standardem aspoň dva roky.
Jaká je výdrž baterie?
Dobrá, telefon má akumulátor s kapacitou 5 000 mAh, což je v tak tenkém těle až překvapivé. Navíc je tu rychlé nabíjení s výkonem až 44 W, nabíječka v balení tento výkon podporuje, takže v případě potřeby přibývá energie v baterii rychle, první polovina asi za 20 minut, celkem nabití trvá necelou hodinku. V provozu pak telefon vydrží jeden perný den s přehledem, dostat se v praxi na dva dny výdrže nebude zásadní problém.
Mám si ho pořídit?
Vivo V29 Lite je stylový smartphone bez zásadních nedostatků. Jenže ani soupeři nemají kdovíjaké neduhy, takže výběr nemusí být snadný. V29 Lite bude ideální pro ty uživatele, kteří si skutečně potrpí na design a zpracování, telefon působí opravdu prémiovým dojmem. A jestli skutečně využijete eSIM, tak toto je v dané cenové kategorii jedna z mála možností, jak telefon s její podporu získat. Za 8 500 korun není Vivo V29 Lite špatnou volbou, byť sourozenci i soupeři umějí být levnější. Ale také dražší, aniž by nabídli zásadně něco navíc.
Třeba Vivo X80 Lite z loňského roku má sice silnější procesor a širokoúhlý foťák, ale oficiálně stojí o 2 500 korun víc, a to už je dost peněz. Navíc není tak stylové, nemá ani nejmenší ochranu proti vodě a chybí mu podpora eSIM, má i menší baterii.
Významným soupeřem pro Vivo V29 Lite může být některý z „áčkových“ samsungů. Model Galaxy A54 stojí aktuálně v akci 10 tisíc korun a má všestrannější foťák i lepší odolnost, nabídne také podporu eSIM. Ale vivo je rozhodně stylovější. However, the decision to purchase the V29 Lite is not as straightforward as it seems. Many of the aforementioned models are older types that can be found at significantly lower prices compared to their official prices. Therefore, choosing whether to buy the V29 Lite is not an easy task. While it does come with a newer system and longer support for software updates, as well as the highest battery capacity among its siblings in the same class, other models also support 5G and most of them have a wide-angle camera, which the V29 Lite lacks.
On the other hand, the V29 Lite has a few tricks up its sleeve that might convince you. Its stylish design with a curved display is exceptional in its class, and unlike its siblings, it offers at least some resistance to water and dust (IP54). Additionally, it is one of the few phones in this class that supports eSIM, which can be incredibly useful when traveling abroad (outside the EU). With eSIM, users can easily purchase a SIM card from a local operator for their phone, even before leaving home.
So, is it the ideal phone for your vacation? Well, it depends. The Vivo V29 Lite is not an outdoor phone, and its water resistance according to IP54 means it can withstand splashes of water, such as rain or accidental drops near a pool. However, it is not suitable for submerging in water. Nevertheless, in most situations, it will suffice, and the option to use a local eSIM can facilitate communication with your loved ones while on vacation.
