Vivo S9 Ludes 9 Seconds on Prime Sales Page all

KOMPAS.com – In early March, Vivo launched a new duo of 5G mobile phones for the Chinese market, namely the Vivo S9 and S9e.

Specifically for I live S9 5G, its first sale took place on March 12 and this phone is said to get a good response in the Chinese market.

In an upload on the company’s Weibo page, Vivo revealed that the Vivo S9 sold out in just nine seconds.

The sales value exceeded 100 million yuan (around Rp.221.6 billion). According to Vivo, there were around 30,000 to 33,000 units of Vivo S9 phones that were sold in this first sale.

Vivo itself sells S9 phones with a tag of 2,999 Yuan (around Rp. 6.6 million) for the 8 GB / 128 GB variant and the 12 GB / 256 GB version for 3,299 Yuan or around Rp. 7.2 million.

Vivo also presents the “economy” model of the Vivo S9 mobile phone, the Vivo S9e. This new phone will go on sale on March 27 in China. This Vivo S9e has a tag price which is cheaper than the regular version of the S9.

For the 8GB / 128GB variant, the Vivo S93 sells for 2,399 (around Rp.5.2 million) and the 8GB / 256GB version for 2,699 or around Rp.5.9 million.

Both the Vivo S9 and S9e, both of which still carry identical designs to their predecessors, the Vivo S7 5G. However, this new mobile duo from the Chinese manufacturer is equipped with improvements on the sides hardware.

The Vivo S9 5G still carries a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FHD Plus resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels).

This phone screen supports refresh rate 90 Hz, higher than its predecessor which only supports refresh rate 60Hz.

In the top center of the screen, there is also a pony that houses the two front cameras. The camera has a 44 MP resolution and 8 MP ultra wide.

Vivo S9 5G is equipped with three rear cameras embedded in a rectangular-shaped module.

The three cameras consist of a 64 MP main camera, camera ultra wide 8 MP, as well as a camera depth sensor 2 MP.

For the kitchen runway sector, the Vivo S9 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset with a 6nm fabrication. The Vivo S9 5G is equipped with a 4,000 mAh capacity battery with support for 33 watts of fast charging.

In China, this phone comes with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, which will be paired with 128GB and 256GB media storage options.

The Vivo S9 5G runs the Android 11 operating system coated with Vivo’s new interface, OriginOS 1.0. Other features that the Vivo S9 brings include fingerprint under-display, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

In general, the Vivo S9e cellphone carries the same design as the standard version. The main difference lies in the front camera, chipset, and RAM.

Unlike the S9 5G which has two front cameras, the S9e 5G is only equipped with one front camera with 32 MP resolution. This camera is immersed in a house shaped like a water drop.

On the back, the Vivo S93 is also equipped with three cameras, consisting of a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide camera, and a camera. depth sensor 2 MP.

In addition, the chipsets used are also different. Vivo S9e is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 820 (7nm).

This phone is also only available in one RAM option, which is 8GB, which is paired with two 128GB and 256GB media storage options.

As for the rear camera configuration and battery capacity on the Vivo S9e, it is still the same as the standard version, as compiled from GSM Arena.

It is not certain whether the Vivo S9 and S9e 5G will enter Indonesia or not.
