TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Vivo Indonesia assesses, regarding the proposal Domestic Content Level (TKDN) for product smartphone 5G currently still undetermined.
Even so Senior Brand Manager Vivo Indonesia Ricky Bunardi stated that the TKDN proposal from the government is still 30 percent for smartphone 5G.
“But there is a proposal for the TKDN value for smartphone 5G marketed in Indonesia to 35 percent,” said Ricky, Sunday (20/6/2021).
Ricky also explained, if the government really requires the TKDN value of 5G smartphones, which is 35 percent, Vivo will certainly try to fulfill it.

“If the government has determined the DCL value for smartphone 5GOf course, we will try to comply with these regulations,” said Ricky.
Vivo has now launched smartphone 5G The newest one is the V21 5G. Even so, Vivo also plans to present V21 4G in Indonesia.
Ricky revealed, the presence of V21 4G is intended for people who are still unable to connect to 5G in some areas.
“The reason we present Vivo V21, which does not carry 5G, because at this time the network is still under development and some regions have not yet received the technology,” said Ricky.
In addition, Ricky also revealed that Vivo wants to provide choices for the community by presenting the V21 5G and V21 4G. So they can make choices according to their needs.

He also explained why the V21 5G launched earlier than the V21 4G. According to him, because Vivo wants to deliver innovative smartphones early to the people.
“The first V21 5G we launched for the public, of course, so that they can enjoy leading innovations and when we update the software to support 5G it can already be enjoyed,” said Ricky.
Vivo V21 4G itself is rumored to be launching on June 22, 2021, with various improvements to the camera, RAM, internal memory and stunning design features.
