Vivo Introduces the V29 Pro: The Latest Upgrade to the V27 Pro Phone

Vivo launched the new V29 Pro phone as an upgrade to the V27 Pro phone released earlier this year.

The V29 Pro phone has a 12-megapixel portrait camera that includes a 2x zoom lens that can focus on targets between half a meter and two meters away with a Sony IMX663 sensor for dual-core autofocus for each pixel, which helps it in low-light conditions.

The main camera contains a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor with OIS optical image stabilization technology. The ultra-wide camera is also the same, an 8-megapixel unit.

The phone works with the Dimensity 8200 processor, which provides higher performance compared to the Snapdragon 778G processor, especially in the field of graphics processing unit. Vivo provided the phone with a 4600 mAh battery that supports 80-watt fast charging.

The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved screen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits with high-frequency PWM dimming.

The device maintains its slim appearance, with a thickness of 7.46 mm, and the front glass bends at an angle of 55 degrees, leaving a frame with a thickness on the sides of 2.4 mm.

The phone is available in two versions, one with a capacity of 8 GB of RAM and the other with a capacity of 12 GB of RAM, and both are equipped with an internal storage space of 256 GB.

The phone has dual SIM slots, although there is no microSD slot to expand the internal storage space. The box includes a USB-C cable and an 80W FlashCharge adapter, as well as a protective case and pre-installed screen protector.
