Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Chinese mobile phone brand, Vivo, announced a new research and development center in China that will be used for research on cellphone camera features.
This research and development center, quoted in a press release on Tuesday, was established in the city of Xi’an, and is the tenth Vivo research facility spread across various countries.
The other nine research centers of Vivo are concerned with the development of 5G and 6G network technology and artificial intelligence.
Regarding the latest research center in Xi’an, Vivo Indonesia’s senior brand director Edy Kusuma said this division would develop photography features for their upcoming cellphones.
“The development of camera functions is one of them long track phase Vivo, and to support this goal, investment in research is urgently needed to break the limitations of today’s mobile photography technology, “said Edy.
Apart from a research and development center in China, Vivo is also working with German optical manufacturer ZEISS to establish a joint research and development center called Vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab.
