Westwood would have turned 82 on April 8. Westwood is known for dominating the punk scene and for being the “mother” of some of the most beautiful dresses in bridal fashion. For several years, her collection has been designed by her partner Andreas Kronthaler. Also awarded by Queen Elizabeth II of the Order of the British Empire in 1992, the designer was so loved that supermodels of the caliber of Naomi Campbell paraded for her for free.
