Viviane Grobet joins the management of Switzerland Tourism

After Letizia Elia, Viviane Grobet, previously Head of Staff at Switzerland Tourism, will take over the Business Development & Partnerships department. The tourism and marketing expert will also become a member of the management of ST.

The previous head of the staff unit at Switzerland Tourism, Viviane Grobet, is now responsible for “Business Development & Partnerships” after Letizia Elia left. As head of the staff department, Grobet was previously also responsible for market research and corporate communication for the national tourism marketing organization.

From August 1, 2022, Grobet will take over the Business Development & Partnerships division and become a member of the management board. In this position, Grobet is responsible for the important departments of partnerships, product development, events & market services, touring tourism, health tourism and initiatives relating to sustainability and innovation. She will lead a team of 30 people in Zurich.

She wants more Switzerland for the guests
The tourism expert with a wide range of management experience and master’s and postgraduate degrees in marketing, management and transformation from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) will develop further potential for the partners of Switzerland Tourism in her new function, according to the press release. Thanks to her know-how, she will also promote initiatives that inspire tourists to delve even deeper into the diversity of Switzerland as a holiday and travel destination. Grobet has been with Switzerland Tourism since 2015, before that she worked as a marketing and membership manager at the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Zurich.
