Querétaro, a strategic center of international connectivity

Viva announced the launch of a new international route that will connect the Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (AIQ) with the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), starting April 2, 2025. This new service, which will have two weekly frequencies ( Tuesdays and Sundays), seeks to strengthen air connectivity in the Bajío and promote tourism and trade between both regions.

A commitment to the development of the state

With this new connection, Viva continues to demonstrate its commitment to Querétaro. The airline not only adds this international route to its growing network from the state, which includes destinations such as Monterrey, Cancun, Mérida and Houston, but has also recently increased frequencies to Monterrey, offering daily flights to facilitate passenger mobility.

The route will have two weekly frequencies on days Tuesday and Sunday. Taking off at 16:20 from Querétaro and landing at 19:55 in Dallas Forth Worth. Now, taking off from Dallas Forth Worth at 9:05 p.m. and landing in Querétaro at 10:30 p.m.

Tourism and commercial benefits

The new route will provide easier access to top Dallas attractions, including Dallas Cowboys games, the Arts District and the John F. Kennedy Memorial. In addition, it is expected to boost the arrival of international tourists to the state of Querétaro, where they will be able to enjoy emblematic places such as its historic center and the Aqueduct.

The route will be operated by one of the youngest fleets in Mexico, made up of aircraft Airbus A320 y A321. This guarantees an efficient and accessible service, aligned with Viva’s vision of democratizing air travel in Mexico and consolidating itself as a benchmark in regional connectivity.
