During the episode of Strip the News broadcast on Friday 15 December 2023 yet another attack suffered by Vittorio Brumotti. The events took place at Bridgesa suburban neighborhood of Napoli.
Heavy threats to Brumotti
Striscia aired unpublished videos in which we witness the violence of which the correspondent of the satirical news program was the victim. Very serious sentences and threats, which arrive after an investigation into drug dealing at Mickey Mouse Park.
“You are a dirty bastard. A fucking man! You have to walk in fear all your life. You can no longer walk free!”. These are the threats addressed to Brumotti who went to Ponticella on Monday evening.
The correspondent was naturally followed by the Striscia cameras who filmed what was happening near the Topolino Park.
In the days preceding the ambush, drug dealers and sentries had been filmed trading drugs, both during the day and at night. The same correspondent had said that he risked being lynched.

When Brumotti showed up in the area where land narcotic substances (Striscia’s face was accompanied by carabinieri), the climate immediately became heavy.
The situation almost degenerated, with the square filling up instantly and with people starting to rail against Brumotti.
The escape
In the case of the attack, a man turned to the correspondent shouting: “I’ll really kill you. But not like the people of Palermo who beat you up and don’t do anything to you. I’ll melt you in acid.”

Only thanks to the support of the Carabinieri did Brumotti manage to get away from the chaos, and was then escorted by car, with the men of the Carabinieri taking him to a safe place.
