By losing 1-0 to the team from Santa Catarina, Leão lost the leadership of the competition. With 25 points, the team led by coach Leo Condé now occupies the second place in the leaderboard, behind Novorinzontino, who beat Sampaio Corrêa, added 26 points and took the first place.
The red-black may lose one more position without even entering the field during the championship break due to the Fifa Date – a period in which the selections play and the release of summoned players is mandatory. Vila Nova, in third place, with 24 points, just one less than Vitória, will play a late game, valid for the 2nd round, and has a chance to overtake Leão.
The team from Goiás visits Sport, Sunday (18), at 6 pm, on Ilha do Retiro. To change places with Vitória, Vila Nova needs to win. In the event of a tie, they will have the same score as the Red-Black team, but they will lose on goal difference (14 against 12).
A Sport triumph will also affect the G4, but not Vitória. The Pernambuco team would reach 24 points and would take Criciúma out of the select group. The team from Santa Catarina has 23 points and is in 4th place.
