The political analyst expressed his point of view on the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons: “You and I understand that this is a matter of faith. Many people did not believe that Russia would attack Ukraine until the last moment, and the president was among these people, like I think. Now we have information that has appeared in recent days that Russia was indeed considering the use of nuclear weapons in 2022, and this is a serious problem, do not downplay it“.
“Even a nuclear strike on a large concentration of Ukrainian troops, where there are many people, will have its consequences, both political and military. Of course, such a blow opens the way to a completely different world. The fact that the Russians are not just making statements, but actually discussing this issue, then this may be a bluff (they could have deliberately discussed this in order to scare the West),” Vitaly Portnikov emphasized.
Earlier, Portnikov said who Putin wants to be and emphasized that the post of President of the Russian Federation does not suit him.
Portnikov also voiced Putin’s dangerous plan, which he will try to implement during his new term in office.
