The Russian occupiers use this tactic to intimidate civilians, but this does not affect the Ukrainians at all, but only adds hatred to the enemy, Vitaly Kim, chairman of the Nikolaev regional military administration, said on air “Apostrophe TV”.
According to him, the occupiers are shelling civilian infrastructure so that people start to panic and appeal to the authorities so that the war is stopped.
“… This tactic was not invented by the occupiers or personally by the President of the Russian Federation. They have always used this tactic when civilians are killed in order to raise panic, and people turned to the government to stop the war … The fact is that on our population, specifically the Ukrainians, this does not work at all. It only adds to the rage and hatred towards the Russian occupiers,” the interlocutor noted.
