Visual Impact: Expanding and Innovating in the Printing Industry

”The printing industry is extremely competitive. Since we took over the company in 2010, our mission has been to produce locally and generate employment. Our journey proves that it is entirely possible to maintain production in Wallonia while contributing positively to the regional economy,” explains the manager.

Indeed, in 2018, the company called DKD (Denis Kariger Découpe, name of the creator of the company), bought CopySIM founded by Romain Simar to enrich itself with a new range of paper. This is how Visual Impact will be born.

Inauguration of a 200 m² mezzanine

The two partners decide to bring together the employees in a single work warehouse. But there is a shortage of space and the search for new premises is unsuccessful. It was one of the employees who proposed the creation of a mezzanine since the building has a high ceiling. An idea which has been implemented since this April 4, 2024, the company inaugurates its new 200 m² mezzanine.

A significant investment of 200,000 euros over one year which covers the construction of this new production space as well as two new latest generation printer machines.

Display screens on parking barriers

Always in the spirit of innovation, the company is launching the exclusive importation for the Benelux of LEDitGO, an LED display solution for parking barriers. This Swiss product is a first which will therefore arrive in Belgium. The principle is simple: we attach a screen to the parking barrier facing the car.

”This new product transforms our approach to communication. It not only offers a new advertising space, but also a new way of creating signage or informing the public. We offer our clients either to invest in the system and operate it as they wish, or to let us manage the space like an advertising agency,” concludes Etienne Fraikin.
